At Omberg Ziplines, we offer a guided tour of both high rope courses and zipline. In a group of max. 12 people, our guides will first take you to our high rope courses where you get to climb high up in the trees through different obsticles such as ladders, ropes and more. You'll then walk through the forest to the ziplines. The guide will follow with you the entire time to support and help you, so you can focus on enjoying your adventure!
A high ropes course is like an obstacle course but above ground. With a harness, helmet and safety ropes, you walk around the course and through the different stages.
We have two courses: a course of 4-5 metres above ground located in the middle of Omberg's fantastic beech forest. This course has easier stations.
The second course is located at about 10 metres above ground in a lovely dark green spruce forest right next to the other course. This one is slightly tougher, both in terms of height and stations.
A zipline is a cable stretched between two trees. You connect a zipline wheel and safety ropes to the wire and go off downhill.
We have different types of courses, we start off a bit easier and then we step it up gradually. If someone in the group feels they have reached their limit, they can follow the group from the ground. At Omberg Ziplines we have a total of 16 ziplines, divided into 4 different stages, where you come down to the ground between the stages. The platforms are located at a height of 6 - 13 metres.

What does it cost to participate?
You can see our current prices when you choose a date and time to book.
I cannot find a date in your booking calendar. Can I book on another day?
If there is no capacity in our booking system, or you would like to climb another day where there is no times available, please contact us via email or phone to see if there's any availability.
Can I climb and use the zipline on my own?
We offer guided climbing and zipline. You do everything on your own of course, but each group always has a guide with them to assist and help if necessary.
Where do we meet for the start?
At Omberg Zipline's flag at the large car park Stocklycke Vandrarhem.
Do you have a toilet?
We do not have our own toilet but there are toilets at the car park at Stocklycke Hostel.
Do I have to arrive before the specified start time?
No, but it's good if you are ready to go at the starting time, so please drink and use the bathroom before. Toilets are available by the car park at Stocklycke Hostel.
What should I wear?
Come in comfortable clothes, and not something that you are afraid to damage. It should be comfortable to move around in, and there is a risk that you might tear your trousers or sweaters (happens to about 1 person in 1000 who climbs). Wear clothes according to the weather. Preferably outdoor trousers or training clothes. Trainers or lightweight boots work well. We recommend long trousers all year round. When you climb high altitude routes you often get very hot, and when you zip you easily cool down a bit.
Can I bring something to drink?
We move around in the forest so it is not so easy to take along something to drink, so please drink beforehand and leave water bottles in your car.
What happens if I am late?
As it's a guided group and often participants from different parties, the guide cannot wait for late parties. If you have missed the safety briefing, you cannot participate in any of the climbing or zipline. So please, have some margin, and arrive on time.
If, for some unforeseen reason, you are still delayed, please call or text as soon as you can to 070 389 83 00
